That was the conclussion I came to as well me old fruit! MOT went fine, except for an advisory about the rear bake pads being near the limit () and that they are wearing one side.... New pads bought along with the exhaust gaskets so will take a butchers while back end is in bits.

So rather than work on the bike today, I rode it!

Did 60 chilly miles today to get back in the swing of it plus spent time at bike dealers drooling! A good day.

Ohhh and if the new naked curvy owner that had a weirdo on a VFR VTEC ride up to you on the pavement outside Colwyn Bay Motorcycles / Eirias Park does come on to SV650.ORg and reads this..... HI!!!

I had sacked off the rear shock as a bad job until after the Egg Run and Barmouth rides, soooooo.............

Spent a good few hours today in the company of Badger swearing at seized bolts, wielding hammers and generally heaving on various bits of exhaust to expose my rear shock. Eventually got the exhaust off, just before calling it a day.

We also managed to fit new springs (Maxton ones as it happens!) and oil in Badger's SV forks during the above .

So during the week I will be fitting the shock and cleaning / greasing everything in sight before asking Badger to come back and help put it all back together!

Maxton shock had better be worth it.......

Wedenesday night right after work matey , that Bike is going back together with a Maxton shock in it come hell or high water mate

Oh yeah, update on this non-event! There is nothing wrong with my bloody brake pads! You have to remove the rear wheel to check them on the VFR, I reckon the MOT tester could not be arsed doing that so just gave the advisory. So I have some pads for when I do need them!

I had a quick look and there was loads of meat on them , He just couldn`t be bothered I reckon , They will see you to the Winter easily if not beyond that ...... then again that`s going by my standard of Brake wear , apparently my bike has them but I don`t like using them much
