Yes and yes Smudge... same venue.

As a rough guide, what dates are good for people? At present, no-one has booked on the site past mid may, so we're pretty much free to choose anything beyond that. I've got provisional F1, MotoGP and WSB calendars to tie in, but I'm thinking of polling last weekend of June to first of Sept.

I have no idea but there are other things I need to arrange around the chosen date so the sooner the dates are decided on the better for me. My daughter is actually waiting before she chooses her wedding day until I tell her which date she can't have.

I suggest pick 4 possible week ends ( I like the sound of between June and September) - 2 in school term and 2 in school holidays. We're always going to have people who feel strongly that it should or shouldn't be in school holidays but you can't please all the people all the time. Orose/Lou - just make sure the ones you pick are still OK with the campsite, then we'll have another poll.

I'm hoping we get all the big decisions done and dusted well before Christmas.

I shall wait with big anticipation. Can the poll run for just one day?

Ollie, could you possibly pm Stuartyboy to see what dates the GM are likely to be this year? It has been the end of June for the last two years, and it would be a pity for either event to be diluted because they clashed with each other.

I doubt they'll clash - if it runs anything like previous years, everyone else adjusts to fit in with the AR. Our venue is completely unbooked from May onwards at present, so I'm only suggesting that range as a guide.

So far, the only events I'm aware of that people might use to guide themselves are the British F1 round (8-10 July), WSB (29-31 July) and MotoGP (17-19 June - too early for us IMO). The last two years were the last weekend in July and first in August respectively, so thats probably the time to target again.

I can tell you don't have school age kids. My daughter finishes school 2nd week in July.

Please can we avoid school holidays.
