Just phoned BluePete and left a voicemail, only seen this just now and I'm heading out on the bike in an hour or so (just cutting the grass!), will try and catch you at Buxton if I can figure out what time you'll be there.

Nah, forget it, route planner says 45 minutes from J17 to Buxton, even if I left here now, still no way I'd catch you at Buxton. Hope by the time you read this you had a good day.

Wilky, sorry I didn't reply, but my pc threw a complete fit having the dreaded blue screen of death

I have had to change the hard drive, graphics card & remove my TV card & re format the whole thing about 5 times. It seems to be running ok now tho Thank goodness I keep all of my old computer stuff & dont throw anything away

Glad you all had a great time.... Mike and I weren`t sure we`d be able to make it but in the end we could

We got up nice and early, Mike had prepped the bikes the previous night so off we set. Got about 5 miles up the road and suddenly I felt ill, further 5 miles and I was convinced i was gonna either pass out or throw up in my helmet Got as far as Wrexham and had to pull into a petrol station where thankfully I managed to get my helmet off in time whilst running for the toilets

I did tell Mike to go on and I`d get back on my own but ever the gent he insisted on coming with me.

Glad you all had a great time and looks like we missed a fabulous day
