Although mobility issues prevent me from going to far (and unlike K I don't have bears down the end of my garden ) I do however have a family of these, after 4 days the little ******** stay still long enough for a reasonable shot.

Taken on a EOS 350D 18-55mm kit Lens (Image cropped but otherwise as shot).

Cheers Mark.

Indeed you feel they do have a degree of intelligent and character .

Cheers Mark.

Err, can't see how to post a pic - tells me my photo is bigger than the 125K limit for the forum tho some of the others seem bigger than that?
Have I missed something obvious (or maybe there could be a sticky for the forum?)

Go to www.photobucket.com register, then upload your pic. It will then sit as a thumbnail on the photobucket site. Click on the IMG CODE link under it, and paste that link into a replly.

Lubber grasshopper, Florida, 2007.
Taken with Canon Ixus 400 (I think - is my wifes camera!)

Yeah, when I initially saw it, I thought it was a childs toy - it didn't look real (this photo is untouched by photoshop etc). It was pretty big as well (woman at the nature reserve said it was bigger than she'd seen before).
I was lucky with this shot - the wooden handrail it was sitting on really sets off the photo.

Anyway, glad you like it.
