oh and i forgot to add, the missus' uncle ste is coming along on his r-reg blackbird, his friend (simon) & missus (rita) on a bandit 1250 have yet to confirm (both chilled out riders). Si & rita brought a massive picnic to croft including: a variety of sandwiches to fill 4 people, crisps, coffee in a flask, vanilla slices, custard tarts, quiche, some samosa's and some bajhis. They were well generous & hope they can come cos I promised them all some stuff in return.

oh and a lad i work with paul *might* be coming on his t-reg ninja but it's a bit 50/50 yet... He was talking about selling it the other day. Now he's keeping it.

My mate on his GSXR 1100 will be coming.... too..

which way are we doing the route? From ripon up towards pateley or the other way back down towards harrogate et al?

As you may or may not know I work for MCN on the website side of things.
I'm coming on the rideout and was thinking of doing some onboard footage and some hand held footage of the rideout for motorcyclenews.com.
I was also thinking of doing a bit of vox pop on what you guys think to the new Suzuki Gladius.

Hope you guys don't mind at all.

Clockwise would keep the sun ( if any ) on our backs & off our visors

The route will be as follows in this link, although we will leave from Ripon and head anti clockwise around the route. There will be a couple of stops but I dont plan to stand about lunging everychance we get as its a long ol route and is tiring.

and yeah, I'd be up for vox popping the gladius. Still not sure what to make of it lol

All this talk of footage suggests I need to pull my finger out and get some graphics sorted for my new machine!! Don't want it looking boring on camera...
