I have a stand at home but on the road I use a scrap of wood that accomplishes the same thing by pushing the bike up and on the side stand.
About to go on a trip so I'll take some pics and show you how it works.
You probably have some things at home you can make one out of ....for free.
Works a treat !!!!.... and the bike won't tip over!
