My apologies John, I missed this post from you somehow, not quite sure how.

I did spend quite a bit of time trying to find a few other suitable options last year but this was the only one I could find which fulfilled the requirements of being close enough to town to walk in, and at a reasonable price with enough space. I think we'd end up having to go out of this area by a fair way to find anything else.

This is something I'd love to join, but apart from it being a fair old trek from here, I'm officiating at an athletics match on the Sunday. Maybe 2021!

Nah, not that far really. St Albans is on the right side of Lahndahn, quick bash up the motorway and you’re at Shrewsbury. Not far to Barmouth from there.

As soon as the weather is more reliable and a bit warmer I shall be scouting out some new routes for the weekend ride outs. Anyone care to join me? Won’t be for a few weeks yet.
