Well, i've just upgraded my breakdown from roadside assistance to full recovery! The idea of pushing the bike 394 miles home wasnt too appealing

I'd would also welcome some suggestions as to what it would be wise to bring for roadside repairs though (i have tank bag so can manage a few bits), i have the tool kit and will get a puncture repair 'thingy' what else ???

a small leanth of wire (a meter or so), some scotch locks, some connectors (male and female) and a pair of pliers.

Good idea on the recovery KJ. Looking on the pessimistic side, is it recovery after an accident too?

Luckily you and Jeff can share spares and I would suggest a spare pair of bar levers (cheap Ebay ones will do), a fixer peg, or two, some sturdy zip ties and perhaps a small amount of engine oil, in case yours burns oil like ours used to.

No, bit like the levers and fixer peg, almost a guarantee you won't need them once you've got them.
