Squirrel...this

I put this thread up as a bit of org fun, a virtual trip if you like, to find the baddest bikes you could come up with for a trip.

If you mad lot however, wish to put it into practise, I do need evidence of said trip, so you may need an official photographer on board(we all know who). I cannot make it in reality, much as I would actually love the challenge of going abroad on a bike again, I have responsibilites that would most certainly count me out.

Fire away chaps..........we now have a most interesting thread indeed, with a whole lot of amusement thrown in along the way!

could I buy a carb or reg/rec and just use stuff i've got hanging around to make a bike, I'm sure it'd come in under budget........

Oh and could we make it the nurburgring with a special prize for the most incident free lap.....

Actually, you're ears must be burning, we said this very thing last night concerning you

Are you really sure the Nurunberg ring will like people leaving bike parts and engine oil all over their place??

as long as you pay your money and swipe you card, I doubt they care, there is no briefing or inspection as it's deemed a public road as far as road worthiness is concerned.

anyway, what am I doing in here

(runs for the metaphoric door)

Making it to Spain would be a feat in itself with these old rattle traps. Then getting across to the Nurburgring and making an incident free lap would be a bloody miracle!

Who said cake?

I think Berlin could have won this last year with the amount of SV's in bits in the garage of swearing

We met an English guy called Steve last year in a campsite in France, he was on his way home. After riding from England to Spain on a chinese copy of a Honda C90.

OK so it was newish and not an old rattle trap, but I was still quite impressed he'd managed to do it and carry all his camping stuff to.
