My one is all silver and is gorgeous. It is second hand, but has only done 6000 miles. It has a carbon hugger and a rear end tidy thingy fitted by the previous owner, along with a tinted screen.

I fell in love with it because it was so shiny and it fitted me like it was made for me. I can assure you that I am not called Phil though, although I guess it could be short for Philipa...

By the way, I know about the posh bits because the nice man in the bike shop gave a bag full of "spare bits" which was a little unexpected. Any body need a black plastic thing that hangs off the back or a colourless screen? I don't have the space for these bits!
Funnily enough Im looking for a black plastic thing that will hang off the back of me colourless screen Welcome aboard Jayneflakes

What ho folks,

So today I have learned that Copper is faster, curvy is better and not many "birds" can handle a spanner... Thank you all for your kind welcome, I feel so special.

Well I am sorry to have to tell you all, that my Silver SV is the best bike in the world ever!

Although sadly it is currently in a garage with a SORN ticket until I pass my test. I have more training next week during Half term (I work in a school) so hopefully that will give me an idea of how far I have to go to get my full license.

Riding my Bike for the first time is something I am dreaming of, quite literally. I can't wait.

So what are SV's like to ride? I have only ever been on Jap in-line fours as a pillion and I love the feeling of acceleration, it is simply wonderful. Of course I fully intend to stick to the speed limit at all times and I will never ride in sporty or aggressive way; and monkeys will crawl out of my bottom!

Bye..... X

My first SV was a silver pointy, I like the colour. There are a few 'ladies' I know who are handy with a set of spanners, my good friend catherine helps out spannering the ZX10R race bike I look after and I'm teaching my ex, Tori, all I can so she can spanner her own RD350LC race bike and her SV650.

SVs accelerate quite well for their size, the power delivery is quite direct and as with any V-twin they have good low to mid range grunt.

You need to watch a bit of "Waynes World" again - the phrase is "And monkeys might fly out of my butt"

Everyone is entitled to repent of their sins and be given a second chance in life

At least you're on the road to enlightenment now. Let that pass certificate be your reformation!
