Naa they are not as bad as 1000miles, well prolly in the summer if you are on the trottle all the time, wheeliing the bike too which is sooo easy, any big twin will eat tyres.

Hes a very good rider, but never "ragged" (never touched a redline on a road bike) his engines, but rides the bike hard and well. But never done past 1000 miles. Usually changed after 900.

Backup isn't that bad at all. Used to be but since they got taken over they have gotten MUCH better! But that's upto you.

Good luck in the hunt... there arnt many other's to look at that id consider usable.

How about a triple? Triumph Daytona or Sprint ST?
