Today has come, and today will go,
What happens tomorrow, you'l never know,
Be strong and smile, you will get through
For tomorrow you can start brand new.
Don't waste time on the past
As life goes by way too fast
If all else fails and you have no cheer,
Bugger off and have a beer!

Life goes uppppp....life goes dowwwwnn

Its your attitude to a situation that decides wether or not you get depressed about it all

My life is on the up, I've fin uni now and looking to do a Ph.D. Pretty hard to find one that isnt already filled, but at least i know what I want to do It would be easy for me to veiw that as my life on the down..."I've finished uni and I'm trying to find a Ph.D but all the positions are filled, I'm never gonna get on a Ph>d at this rate and I'm gonna have to take a crappy job analysing paracetomol pills"

Very good words by monsieur filly pie. Exactly what I do (sort of anyway).

Read my recent posts everything breaking at the same time. There's also a lot that hasn't been posted, as there is with everyone I'm sure.

When I'm feeling down, there's lots of secretive spots I can run off to & contemplate. That sounds like it's just what you need Shelly (and others by the looks of this).

I'm fortunate in that I live in a coastal part of the UK, and I'm pretty remote. I can find lots of spots to go & chill out within an hour from home. My current favourite one is a secluded beach that I've never seen anyone on, and in fact, it'd be hard to get access to by vehicle. My own little paradise.
