hhhmmmm you make a good point about getting to AR08 Camp too early but the idea was to have a long...ish bimble down from BoxHill through some twisty roads and then arrive at said campsite for tea time. Who will be leading your route???

It's not possible to get there too early
Turn up, have a beer - the weekend starts there and then

On the 06 we only just made it with enough time before it got too dark to put the tents up, one quick drink, and it was last orders

I'm not making that mistake again

a 2pm departure should get us there in time to put up tent and have early dinner and on to the beers!

its been know to happen on the odd occasion...me saying something usefull that is

No idea who is leading our bit but as someone else said its not about getting there fast for me either, its about enjoying the ride with like minded dudes and dudetttes.

2pm at the Ace sounds fine to me but i think it may mean others who are south or central have to ride in.

So whaddaya other mid-dayyers think? Ace or Soho meet up?

PS me is all excited as i finaly ordered my tent and its arriving here at my work tomorrow.

Who said i leave thing to the last minute, lol.

there was the possibility that i was gonna buy one on the way down to the ace to see you, you know. So its not as last minute as that...hence its no way near last minute.

Guess i should do some packing tonight, ah bugger it i'll do it Friday night after soho

The only essential item required is money. The more of it you pack, the more comfortable your trip will be.
