Surely that depends on if you're participating, or just observing...

Yeah, unless someone's got more info Baph seems to be spot on, everyone's talking as though the council have actually changed their plans, which they haven't.

And likewise, as's been pointed out the fire crew weren't punished for "shining a torch on some doggers" (which put that way sounds innocent and accidental), they were punished for going there specifically to see if they could find and watch some doggers while on duty. We're supposed to feel sorry for them and outraged at the mucky doggers, but I'm not sure what they did was any different, except that they did it while they were on duty and in uniform using brigade gear.

And why weren't the doggers charged for any offence? They were never reported, ie the witnesses never told the police. If they had been, and if there was an offence committed, that would have been different.

These are some very interesting points you have raised here, you only have to look at the thread so far to realise that some of you guys know where to go for an evening of homophobic fun, Spraying folks with water, taking pot shots with rifles and night scopes and the like, why would Fire Men be any different to the rest of us?

Here is a controversial question that I leave open to the men and in particular any openly Gay men on the forum, how do you feel knowing that there have been some rather homophobic views raised on our beloved Org in the last few weeks? In fact, do we have any gay men to ask? This is an unfair question, why would any of you want to out yourselves in a place that may be hostile to your hobby of being in and around bushes late at night?

Can I ask another question of everyone? Do any of you participate in Dogging, be it gay straight or bestial? If so, what is the buzz that you get from it?

What we want is to go back to the good old days. People knew their place back then. Homosexuality was a crime that got you imprisoned , Women kept quiet because they had no right to vote and only the rabbits had sex on the downs. I may be joking about this!

at the end of the day the blokes in the bushes were up to no good.

You've got me all wrong there, that sort of thing is just as funny with straight people...

Hmm, if only I had an interesting graphic I could use to demonstrate the point... Well there is some really nasty stuff on the net... Might go searching for pics for you all to scrutinise and offer critique!

Whilst I may/may not conduct myself in any of the ways mentionned above, I certainly wouldn't whilst on 'office time.' That's the same distinction most of us make I reckon. The Firemen were on duty at the time. On their own time, who cares what they do?

Having met a fair few folks on the .Org, and been here for a long while (relatively speaking), I would like to hope that the views raised by many were done so in jest. While one person may say "I'd do x, y and z" on an internet forum, daily life is generally different.

I don't partake myself, but I know of a few people that have been to observe. Even those in public sector jobs, whilst on 'office time.' I sharn't comment further on it though, as it's not really my place to do so.

All except the last part of the above, amen! When can we start changing the laws back? I'd get a hell of a quieter life!!

Granted seeing one gender rather than the other has a positive effect on me, however, I don't have any negative emotions seeing two guys going for it. It just doesn't do anything for me.

My basic philosophy is, so long as a guy isn't trying it on with me, then he can do what the hell he likes.
