I loooooooove my Furygan jacket, it's lovely to look at and feel, and it's proved itself extremely tough- any decent leathers would have survived the crashes I've done in it, but it's not just survived, it's barely even marked. The stitching's all recessed to protect it in slides (and there's fully protected stitching under the leather on all major seams).

(part of my decision to go with Furygan, apart from the looks which did play a part, is the fact that all the sidecar boys at Knockhill wear furygan. And NOBODY crashes as much as the sidecar guys Sometimes they're lucky to get out of the pits before a bit falls off their ridiculous contraptions and tries to sever their limbs)

Wolf, I've been very impressed with. If I was buying an off the peg suit tomorrow it'd probably be Wolf, I don't like Furygan's trousers much. They're well made (as far as I can tell) and well priced, but also they look good.

Yes, Furygan looks like good valued and quality gear. I''m also considering Wolf as I live about 3 minutes from where they make them in Leigh on Sea in Essex, but Furygan is definiately another make to consider

Going back to the original post, I've just been in Harpers and they reckon they can do a custom made suit with built in knox protection (the new stuff) although as you are getting it made it can all be altered or additional protection added, for a between £500-£600. A bit more than the original spending allowance by they are made to measure and decent leather

An absolute steal if prices I am being given on PH are correct (£1300 for the base suit from most reputable ones, £850 for the base suit from a cheapo)! Though it might make me a little wary...
