i love the 675 reminds me of a 250 its soooo sweet it was on my must have list but i choose the gixer instead and like u say dont they sound good as standard.

I like the sound of 675 even as stock, weird whistly thing at low speed then a cool snarl when you open the taps.

the whistle is from the gear driven balancer shaft, or so my research tells me, unique design to the triple having 3 cylinders - lovely noise

this is the next bolt on for me.. although it wont give me hardly anymore ponys than im getting off of the TOR it will still look and sound sweet

my standard gixer can is bl@@dy loud, on long journeys ive started wearing ear plugs.

ah but volume is very different to pleasant to listen to - i found that out with the street extreme exhaust, loud but didn't sound as nice to me as the beowulf

the whistle comes from the induction.. at low revs it has like a restriction to keep the noise down.. like little flaps that close at low revs then open to let more air in as you climb up the range

im not so sure on the styling of this new model... think i prefer the older style except the new arrow rearsets lol,
