I got a little bit of a discount on the setup because of the problems I was having with my previous setup from DogCamSport.

I use the PDR's internal mic which is omni-directional which picks up anything and everything (you can hear the engines revving at the traffic light GP). The PDR does have a separate mic input for an external mic or to link up with an Autocom system.

If you have a camcorder laying about that has an AV input (I think it is) then you can plug the camera into that. If not then the more you spend the better the quality.

I'm using Sony Vegas.

Well impressed with the vid . Great editing, I particularly liked the bit at around 1:55 where you synched the bikes going past with the F.E.A.R. breakdown. Top marks with the track choice too! Is Sony vegas an editing program? I've got Adobe premiere but it's a bit complicated for a bungling amateur like me.

The F.E.A.R part took the most amount of time to do and get right, it wasn't quite as simple as what I had in mind.
I bundled my way through Sony Vegas and I think I can say I'm starting to pick it up.
