Renthals On A Pointy?

I drilled a hole on both sides for the switch gears.
Best way is to measure the distance from the end of the bar to the hole on the original bars and then mark where you want to position them.
5.2mm was the drill size i used but also put a small pilot hole first.

i know i've done it just wondering wether you had or not bloody thick metal there made out of too i wrecked a drill bit doing it

I went through 6 drill bits drilling my exhaust the other day one of the tips melted and welded itself on there annoyingly.

There defo thick bars, had to grind a fair bit off my bar end washer and nut to get it to fit in the bars.

Who taught you how to use a drill? Use some cutting fluid and more pressure so it cuts instead of rubbing.

Never been taught
The one that melted was when I had my whole body weight behind it. I might have lied when I said 'exhaust'

I have some Renthal fat bars that were on an SV. I got them on here ages ago, but the clamps had bent bolts so I never fitted them. Im interested if anybody knows where I might get some bolts for the Renthal clamps? Two Renthal sellers locally dont sell em!!

quick off topic question does anyone know if it's viable to butcher the clamp off a naked top yolk then add clipons below it and stick one of those cheap carbon fibre pads over the evidence?
