It was pointed out that some of the japanese bikes they were testing at the same time, hadn't corroded. They had been treated similarly.

This was when the D675 was quite new - its possible Triumph have rectified the problem since.

My gripe about my 675 is that the paint is soft. I don't think that my bike (or Triumphs generally) is the only one. Because of the aggressive riding position a good knee grip is essential, and I don't have any TechSpecs or Stomps, (don't like either) and my leathers have scratched the paint on the tank. It's irritating but a minor issue all things considered I spose.

I was a little worried because some long term tests in magazines reckoned the D675 started to corrode quite quickly.
My 05 Speed Triple is still in pretty good shape. It's been ridden all year round and doesn't get cleaned very often. I do spray it with ACF50 in the winter.

Get one and you will never regret it and wonder why you never did it years ago

Our local dealer has a new one in the gorgeous Burnt Orange with the curved spokes on the rear wheel what a fantastic looking bike. If I had more experience only passed my test in March I would have bought that.
