H*ndas use a powerful alternator as they're wound differently to the suzuki ones. Hence why the alternators strong enough to run an SV for ages are considered a weak spot on the C*Rs.

Multimeter to see if volts are present and going in and ampmeter what evr thingy to see if its got and getting amps
Or some one might have a battery tester |

Multimeter on 20VDC scale.
Put across battery. Engine running, 5k rpm, lights on, should show 13.5-14.5v

In fact that would work - if you follow the A2 into London, then take the A202 you pretty much go past my door. Or we can work something else out meeting wise.
