Don't forget all the kit you were wearing that got scrapped/dented/ripped etc.

As everyone says - do not settle for 50/50 - speak to the experts.

Dont know how many times its been said but you simply must get a specialist lawyer like White Dalton or Bromilly Holcroft and get them to deal with it or you will be shafted. And do it now,not in six months time when the other driver is suing you.

gutted for you kuze, I know how it feels when you damage your pride and joy!! thankfully you are still in one piece.

I also have first hand experience of how incompetent SOME of her majestys police force are....

good luck with the fight anyway, the advice given on here is pretty sound.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck. I would second the advice from other on here and speak to a specialist, White Dalton seem to be the top of the tree for this type of thing.

It was good that the Police attended but they are not the people who will decide on the rights or wrongs, as for charging you for filtering, that does seem a bit off considering they themselves filter in traffic (are they saying it is at their own risk and any off would be paid by them, dont think so).

Insurance companies are not in the business of paying money out if they can help it, so keep them on their toes and make sure they are fighting the case for you and not just arguing for one-upmanship against the other insurers.

Good Luck

But plenty incidents of drivers turning left or just pulling into the left or mounting the kerb to park, they are even less likely to look in the left mirror before moving, unless they are London drivers who are used to bikes going every which way, they are not expecting traffic to be passing them on the left. And if passing on the left, you'll definately only get 50-50
