Stonehaven claimed that as the birth place of the fried mars bar, remember 20 years ago hearing folk there order one on a cold saturday lunchtime. Still get shivers thinking about it.

Sorry for derail

A fish supper is one piece of decent sized fish, or two pieces of smaller fish, both accompinied with chips.

Simples.

How come fiah and chips always taste nicer the further north you go? Most of the chippies down here in Bucks are rubbish!

The other thing I have noticed is that chippies seem to stay open later the further north you go.
In Halifax a couple of weeks ago couldn't find one open at 7:00pm where as up north they are still open when you leave the pub about 11ish in order to furnish you with chips and curry sauce on the way home.
