Both my tanks are above 250 litres.
Visually, it's a nice amount of water and you can set them up for most fish to be happy. From a practical side, I can do water changes on the pair of them in well under an hour. |

The problem I have is cleaning the stones with the tool I have (a kind of vacume siphoner) is that i run out of water before I have finished cleaning and end up doing a large 70% water change than the 25% I would like to. I tend to now do this every 3 - 4 weeks now instead of every 2 weeks.
A bigger tank would be nicer so make this job easier actually. Shame, they cost so much! |

If you bury the gravel cleaner deep into the gravel when you use it, it slows down the flow of water and still sucks out the cack
