I was on the bike going down a dual carriageway with Chris riding behind me when I bird flew up from the field. I did duck my head and Chris said it was hilarious because it would have hit me if I hadn't!!! Don't think it would have been quite so hilarious if I had though!!!

A bird flew into the side of my neck at about 65mph once. Wasn't too bad as I took it side on. Can't say the same for the bird.

nope but ran over a badger also have had 2 head on's with black birds in cars right where my face was the first one was when i was in a taxi on my way home hit on the pasenger side about 60mph i tell you what i shat my self lol the second we were in my mums rx8 doing just under a tone and it hit the bottom of the window (ass first as it was flying the same way we were going) and slid up to where my head was and then fliped off the car ....

yet to hit one on the bike, hit one in the car though, stupid thing flew out of a bush straight into my passenger window when doing bout 50....

Hit a pigeon once, <40, pulling off from a set of lights and see a pigeon launch towards me, didn't feel anything and thought it had missed, looked down some ~300yrds later and there is this pigeon spread out held onto the bike by air pressure, slowed down and it dropped off...

OTOH had a near miss at lots of mph, had an Audi TTR up my chuff through a 40 mph section (dual carriageway), I pass the few cars and move over and let him go, he passes and nails it. The road becomes an NSL and I wind it on a bit and end up behind him again as there are cars in front, they move over and he nails it, probably 120-130ish as a pigeon swoops out of the side of the road, I duck as I see it sweep out and *KABLOOOWEY* one massive cloud of feathers as it hits the TTR and explodes!

Got hit by a pidgen right on my right leg knee slider......feathers and white
smoke everywhere..
70 plus, glad it wasnt head height.

Ahhh but the deer incident will be forever in full technicolour memory. I'm surprised you didn't wet yersen laughing...even though it was very scarily spectacular.

pheasant flew out of bush , i saw it just in time and put my head forward and it hit straight on top of my helmet and cracked it. gave me a stiff neck for a week. god i hate those things! why cant they just learn to fly properly. whats the use of a bird that can only get 5 feet off the ground!

I've hit a couple of birds. Not crashed as a consequence thankfully. I have also hit a deer which resulted in me in the grass verge, no damage to me or the bike but the deer was a goner.

I've also had a bird strike in the car. Took out my right headlight. The very next day I managed another bird strike on the same road which took out the left headlight. What are the chances of that? It was an expensive week.
