Fortunately most of the mistakes we make have little or no consequence, but we do it all the same, the important thing is recognising and and understanding the error made - which you did.

Onwards and upwards!
What he said.

We all do this all the time, usually, it doesn't result in anything untoward 99.9% of the time. Glad you saved it and didn't take the "basejumping without a 'chute" trip over the Armco. The important thing is that you have analysed why it happened, what you could have done differently to prevent it and have implemented the changes necessary to your riding, which it sounds like you have.

Just seen this. Ya blinkin' donk!
Is that the junction at the end of the fly over, with you heading from your place then over the fly over towards my gaff?

Regardless, Congrats on not been pavement meat though and its testiment to your nature young sir that you're seeing it as an education, most would find some way of making it someone elses fault. I do doft my cap.

100% agree there ralphy, I get the instant silly head following something either trouser staining or blood boiling. A near miss prob should slow me down but it tends to spur me on, your comment explains the logic beautifully.

Of course if I had gone over and survived I would have put it down to just showing all the f*ckin annoying would-be suiciders on that bridge how it is done. The inconsiderate c***s always stop traffic and never bloody jump.
