I put my pinlocks in an old sock. Seems to keep them scratch free.

Once fitted I never touch my pinlocks, they stay on the visor for good.

yea that kind of defeats the object of swapping them out tho.


soo these visors are the "aftermarket" ones (tt) any good? are am i better off with the genuine ones?

It means they have a reflective coating on them. Extra care needed to not damage them.

Personally I always go for a genuine one. That way you know what you are getting and that the fit is going to be decent.

As for iridium. I have one, they scratch realy really easily so you need to be careful with it, it works very well though. But yes it is a bit tarty...

I prefer it over the dark. Mine has a Yellow tint to it so that it works when the light levels are lower i.e. I can use it in the rain or when its a bit dark. Also it doesnt catch me out in terms of visability when riding through trees etc when the light levels are reduced.

I've had an iridium screen before and couldn't see any difference between a normal dark tint visor. Only difference was it was shiny and reflective on the outside.
