Last time I actually managed to get on the bike was Careless' October run to D&G and it was brilliant, really loved the roads down there.

Not been physically able to get on the bike since then as my knee problem has gotten worse and is now both knees. I should find out for definite what's causing it next week so with a bit of luck I'll be back on the bike fairly soon. Absolute worse case I may have to switch the SV for a cruiser - can I still come to the GM if I do?

Props to SIII for taking this on.

I know its the other side of the country but if your doing Applecross try this place. Its the house on the left in their title picture.

http://www.ceolnamara-lochalsh.com/

Mrs Chucca and I went there last year (last minute) Ross and Jayne were lovely the Bedrooms are great and the view in the morning is to die for...

We came back using this route;

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=...ra=ls&t=m&z=11

Its worth the hassle for the nice wee Glenelg Ferry. My avitar is taken from Skye looking toward the main land, and its not the best view. Coming down the end of the old military road is just stunning!

So lets get this straight - were Ross & Jayne in the bedroom and was it the view of Jayne that was lovely? I'm hoping its not Ross!

You've never mentioned that you were a 'fan' of the Krankies! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Cheers for the tip Chucca definitely adding that to the trip. Pretty much sorted with route/stop overs now http://g.co/maps/r9yfb what ya think?

p.s if the story I read the other day about the Krankies is true, there's not enough mind bleach in the world to erase that image
