If the guys offering you the springs, get him to do it all.

As far as I remember the hole in the damper rod is brazed over, and filed smooth, simple job.

Do a search on here for more info

How much for springs?
I can do fork mods for you.

He wants £80 for the springs. What spring rate do i need? Will it say on the box? The mechanic says they will be fine for me but he might just be wanting to sell them.

11st 0.85's or 0.9's

I run 0.9's and I'm 13.5st. Do the seals and dust covers too

Lower side of that. 85 max, maybe even 80s.

Should say on box

Brilliant thread this!
Make that Curvy v Bandit v Pointy v GSX-R 600. And I know for a fact that I'll lose by a country mile just always fancied Snetterton. Let's get it booked in. I'll bring the tie wraps, gaffa tape and surgical dressings for the inevitable carnage!!

Ummm... I think you can only use the GSXR if we can take one of the spark plugs out!

Snetterton 300 should be about right, nice balance between twisties with somewhere for the Bandit to open up a bit...

I meant I would lose! I've got the distinct disadvantage of being a cack handed half wit with no biking talent. I may catch you up on the start finish straight but would only outbrake myself into Riches!
