So tell us - what do you like about it ?
Im really not interested in its literary merits, if its got good grammar , who cares ?

Its a book about sex ffs....people seem to find it v tough to talk about it sensibly, so please , just give us some sensible comments on why its good, and why is it the fastest selling book ever ?

Its the fastest selling book ever because you're told you hate it and you're told its crap so its Taboo, so discretely you try it, then you tell your mates you tried it and they ridicule you... but then try it themselves and this circle continues to expand until like in the last 4weeks it explodes due to an admission of those who were hiding it. Now suddenly over night its mainstream and all those still secretly reading it broadcast that they too are reading it. This makes those that haven't now feel weak and misguided, so they too start reading it. Also known as "getting on the band wagon" once enough people have climbed on the bandwagon it slowly leaves town.

Eventually, enough have read it, sales die down and people forget it exists... apart from the Author who is now astonishingly wealthy. Then universal studios make a movie about starring Julia Roberts and men join in, starting a band wagon of their own.
