Personaly i enjoy ridding my Bike.
ACF allows me to do it in the safe knowledge come spring i can soapy wash it back to shiney

I love a nice shiny vehicle as much as the next man, I've always been a detailer. But I accept that spending 15 minutes on a bike everyday is beyond what I can do right now. I live on the tenth floor of a block of flats with no water supply at the bottom for a hose. Hoofing buckets everywhere is a bumache. I also do 50 miles a day like YC, I'm usually so knackered after battling with central London traffic that I can barely be bothered to breath, let alone wash a bike haha!
