It means they will miss you completely as you are beside them, or, shunt you in the @rse. Reduces the chances of you being hurt (not your bike unfortunately) and they lose the excuse that they didnt see you.

thats the problem, i was blocking her - hence her pranging me.

i would have been best stuck between the two veichles mabe, but as the road goes round to the right - leaves it a bit tight getting round there.
