Filipe..Not everyone that lives on the Costa del Sol is a criminal my friend! No the person in question is a respected(?)member of the forum and not my son! I cannot name the person as this could lead to people wanting to pm and try to get numbers for favoured riders!

Vltn3...Get your overalls ready my friend....a team will be running for you.

Cloggsy.....I am giving until Sunday evening for peeps to indicate that they want to join in.From there I will then show how the handicap system is to work and the rules. The rules of course will be fully adhered to by myself and no favour given or asked,(no matter inducements may be offered! )

Please note that there as been no extraordinary handicaps applied for reasons such as:

Valentino......Real bad hair.

Loris.....With all that money you can't get your teeth fixed?

kenny Roberts...For being blubber man.

Nicky Hayden .....For having a "Deliverance" accent.

Dani Pedrosa...For being unfairly small.

Sete...For that mullet.

Jeremy....For even wanting to be around again!

Falc....Get your track side headset ready mate you will have a team. Does the little woman not wish to compete against you with her own team?

I would like to thank a respected member of the forum for contacting me to act as a neutral adjudicator to allow us to fairly select our riders. This person is beyond reproach as far as moral issues go,to my mind.

Room for me too Peter, if that's ok?

I've organised F1 and WRC Rally ones in the past at work, vsuper-competitive by the end with a wee wager and trophy to play for.

SV-Moto GP Fantasy League-Rules.

I have decided to display the rules earlier in order for the Team managers to acquaint themselves with the formula.

I am also showing the riders and their attributed handicaps. I have tried to be as fair as possible with the handicap system and will show an example after the list.Though subjective I have attempted to use a riders experience, previous success etc. in order to fairly attribute the handicaps. The handicaps will stay as detailed below..

Rules

Two riders to be selected per entrant. One from group A and one from Group B.

You will be asked to send a pm to me with your 2 selections.

Selection will take order of those posting to say they wished to participate.

If you select the exact same 2 riders as someone else you will be asked to select again.

If a rider does not start the season you will be asked to choose another rider.

If one of your riders is injured then you will "adopt" his replacement.

Pole position rider at each race will be awarded extra points.

Falling in a race will see points deducted.

Any other DNF will see points deducted.

Handicap system will be based on last seasons results.

Race points awarded will be in accordance with Moto GP rules.

Handicap system will take in to consideration rider experience, race record and potential machine competitieveness.

For complete fairness I will ask a non participating org member to select numbers for the riders that will be placed in to two separate groups for selection. When that has been done I will submit to that person, the randomly arranged groups along with my own 2 number choices. Once that is done I will look after the ongoing participants rider selection.

You will be asked to Select a team name.

Your selection will commence on Monday 6th February.

Riders and handicaps.

James Ellison-Tech 3 Yamaha……………..175
Toni Elias-Fortuna Honda………………….125
Randy De Puniet-Kawasaki…………………150
Casey Stoner-Honda LCR……………………125
Shinya Nakano-Kawasaki…………………….150
Jose Cardoso-DAntin Ducati………………….175
Alex Hoffman-D’Antin Ducati…………………175
Chris Vermuelen-Suzuki Moto GP…………….175
Carlos Checa-Tech 3 Yamaha………………….150
Jeremy McWilliams-WCM Blata………………200
Jason Perez-WCM Blata…………………………200

Nicky Hayden-Repsol Honda…………….50
Marco Melandri-Fortuna Honda………..75
Colin Edwards-Camel Yamaha…………75
Loris Capirossi-Ducati Marlboro………75
Valentino Rossi-Camel Yamaha………..0
Makoto Tamada-Minolta Honda………..150
Sete Gibernau-Ducati Marlboro…………75
Kenny Roberts-Team Roberts Honda……150
John Hopkins-Suzuki Moto GP……………150
Dani Pedrosa-Repsol Honda………………..100

The system used utilises the 25pts. for a win scenario. In simple terms the handicaps shown can be viewed as a points start over Valentino Rossi.

For example would you not think that even giving Loris Capirossi a head start of 3 wins(75points)..that Valentino could still beat him over the season?

We could discuss the handicapping for ever and a day so I will just ask everyone to accept it as after all this is all a bit of fun.

Special points.

The pole setter at each GP will be awarded 10 bonus points.

Any faller in a race will have 10 points deducted.

Any DNF for any reason will have 10 points deducted.

Any winner of a designated "wet race" will be awarded an extra 10 bonus points in addition to the 25 race win points.

Any podium finish for a rider NOT in the following teams will be awarded an additional bonus of 10 points.

Repsol Honda
Ducati Marlboro
Camel Yamaha
Suzuki Moto GP
Kawasaki
Fortuna Honda

Any "Rookie" rider will be awarded an extra 10 points for a podium finish.

Rookie Riders:
Casey Stoner
Dani Pedrosa
Randy De Puniet
Jason Perez
Jose Cardoso
Vermuelen.

Any queries you might have with the above might perhaps be handled via pm.
