Bloody hell the state of your bike (let alone pelvis )

Very glad to see you live and soon to be kicking

Wishing you well.

Btw...you know how you can take out your own stitches.....

....well DO NOT try it with those screws

Glad your on the road to recovery mate!

Rest well, and take your time best not to rush that recovery.

Ouch ouch ouch!

Good to hear you are up and about again, can only imagine what it must have been like and I doubt that comes close to reality.

Good on you for planning on getting back on a bike. I know what you mean about not having another SV, mine was written off too and if you get another SV it will never be as good as the one you had. Being back on the road again after an accident is pretty tough, I still get panic attacks though they only happen occasionally now on the bike, not all the time in the car and bike so it does get better. I can recommend having a day or so training before getting on a new bike. I did this as I figured if I anything happened at least its not your bike that you damage. Worked a treat, my confidence was pretty good for when I did get on my new bike (CBR 600F).

Keep in touch.

from other reports i have read on this accident i have read that you may have been travelling at around double the road speed limit while trying to undertake the car that pulled in and caused you to crash.. without trying to cause the level of debate that occured in the 'other' thread.. if this is indeed true (i don't know, either way), do you think that you would do things differently if the same situation presented itself? it is obviously important that we learn from our mistakes so they hopefully aren't repeated

despite this i am very sorry to hear of your injuries and hope you make a speedy recovery and it is great that you are going to get back on the bike

Bit of a dumb question don't you think

At the end of the day i was`slowing for the light which makes the undertake legal and a women pulled into me/my lane forcing me off the road who didnt look and very likely distracted by the mentally disabled child in the back. Based on this no i wouldnt do it different and will be making a`claim

also claimed all my bike gear off house insurance so will be shopping soon with the payout :P
