I agree. I really don't think the Z6 front performs in the wet, like the road attack did. I am going to mix the tyres next time the front is due for a change and put a road attack on.

I loved the handling of the road attacks as I do with the Z6's, just not the Z6 in the wet.
That's wierd because i find them exceptional in the wet both on the SV and on the TDM

Totally agree his tone was very condesending.

A mixture of very useful infromation and sales pitching . I was only really interested in the fact that scrubbing in new tyres is a combination of getting rid of the release agent(not Bridgestone of course ) and bedding in.

Cheers

Yeah, frustrating. I really did think it was me. But it's not. When the road attacks (and come to think of it the 020's) started to reach the limit of traction in the wet, I could feel good feedback from the tyre. with the Z6, if just goes, makes leaning over very unnerving. I find they are fine, good even, in the dry and even in the damp. Just crap in the wet.

Could well be the setup that I have on my bike though. neither the front or the rear are standard. Wondering if changing tyre pressures may make a difference, but putting more air in the tyre to me would only make it worse. (I ride with standard pressures).

when on the SV i used 32 front 36 rear on the TDM i use 35 front 38 rear and i get good feedback from the tyres in the wet as well as the dry.

then again i had a K3 ohlins springs and 12.5 w oiland a gixer 1000 rear shock, and on the Tdm its bog standard suspension (for now, upgrade coming soon)
