I like cheese, of virtually any variety, but really good cheese on toast needs a strong-flavoured cheese to compliment the Worcester sauce

Tesco used to sell an amazing Cheddar with caramelised onions....I don't normally like these funny "blends" but this was great with a lump of bread and a glass of cold cider, or in cheese-on-toast form.

I bought kilos of the stuff but it seems to have faded from view in my Tesco.

I do love a bit of cheese myself tbh. I am a fan of all manner of textures and tastes. Although I cannot bare the Spanish Manchego cheese as it can be as dry as carboard unless eaten togethr with a nice piece of Jamon Serrano. I am not a big fan of really pungent smells from cheese either. Of course Quiff would understand more about that kind of thing than me.
