Does your speedo still work? If you couldn't fit the pick-up wheel in front you could fit it in rear and the speed will still be reliable. I've seen this done in a US forum. If I remember correctly you substitute the rear spacer for the pic-up and extend it's cable.

At the moment it doesn't work, that's true. I was planning to put in on the rear axle/spindel, but first I want to finish the front end.
![]() But it is creepy to ride with no speedo, especially (yes my English is very good ![]() ![]() |

For the speedo you want one of these!
![]() From this guy in the US climb.high@version.net just let him know what parts you used! As for the TL1000s clipons the will give you the rise you need! |

I will contact him about that speedo! Thanks for the email-address. I did read about this solution too, still have to think about which to use though.
Is there a lot of work involved to let the steeringlock work? I guess it's only a little filing? |

Lazyness, are there any solutions to it?
![]() I could have tought about that too to be honest, but I was to lazy... I will do it when I have my clipons, found a couple today in Holland. I hope they will be as long as the SV ones because with the R1 clipons I had trouble with all the instrument ons the handlebars. ![]() |

The TL1000s are a perfect fit for the switch gear!

TL1000 clipons = very nice option, they're a bit slopey though. I figure on replacing mine with some LSL Match High-offsets, similiar rise but a bit flatter. Also much nicer to look at
![]() The rear wheel speedo thing, well, I wouldn't do it again now. The kit in the pics there is very good but bulky, I like my new solution- the sensor off a Veypor. Costs about the same but it's much, much smaller and neater. Unfortunately you need to buy the whole thing and throw most of it away, you can't just get the sensor- I'll make a home for the rest of the loom ![]() Looks damn fine that... How are you finding it for steering stops?

Errr, what do you mean with "finding it for steering stops" ...
![]() But I don't know about the rear wheel speedo mod, it doesn't look "strong" enough for me. |
