Rode the A699 from Kelso to Saint Boswels the other day.

Then rode back again.

Then ran it again... Twice!

What a road! I could spend all day on it!

For me and my inexperience mime would have to be the road up from Lennoxtown to fintry then on to kippin then home,

It’s got to be at dusk though and slightly wet under foot, the odd bit of mist and fog doesn’t go a miss.

Best way home would be to go straight through Kippen to the roundabout go straight through to Thornhill. Take a left then right in the village and continue on the B822. All the B822 is a topper. Up to Callander, dukes, A81 - haime'lldaeme.

After 18yrs riding about the sou'side , thinking I knew all the best back-road boogie roads, I just discovered , The Kingston Road out of Neilston all the way to south of Dunlop. A peach. Some keech yer breeks bits so go easy.

Again keep it to yourself.

You will be thinking of the A712 Newton Stewart - New Galloway road....(I live in Newton!)
