Too hot to ride so just a short bimble this evening close to home.
 The cat on the porch kept a keen eye on me the entire time but never got up from its sleeping spot in the shade.

I'm going to do a backdated batch. In the meantime, here's my first batch of tomatoes and some basil from my garden.

It's easy Monday night supper. Bake ciabatta, cut in half, spread with pesto, layer with salami if you eat pork, which I don't, then tomatoes, slices of mozzarella, sprinkle chilli flakes on top if you like heat, pop back in oven for 10 minutes, serve with black pepper and fresh basil, and a glass of wine. Yummy.
