Dunno mate - I was watching it on a small monitor and it baffled me. Can only assume he wasn't quite used to the bike after crashing out at the start on bike #1. Must watch the tape of the race. Corser's poor showing was probably the most disappointing part of the race for those who want someone to catch Mr Bayliss-tic in the points. On the day Haga game him a fantastic fight in both races, wish he'd won one of 'em.

After Mr Bayliss' performance, they don't need it do they?

I wonder if she's wondering where your left hand might be.

Well no big surprise I guess, but Valentino has now officially signed to ride for Yamaha again next year on the 800cc bike.

He was quick to anounce that as he has gained so much from the sport and Yamaha, that he would be riding for free.

Of course it dont mean a whole lot at this point. But over in Mugello at the end of FP1.

Valentino showing them the way with both of the Ducati boys right on his tail!
There could be a bit of a unfair advantage at this track as the hoardes of Ducatisti blow their fave bikes along the main straight which must aid top speeed! :P

Last post before the weekend black out!

A tale of mixed fortunes for the Brit riders this week. Poor old Chas has lost his 250cc ride due to lack of sponsorship. Battaini who last year rode for WCM Blata in Moto GP and then dissapointed on a Kawasaki early in the season in WSB on a now gets the ride as he can bring funds to the cause.

Young Paul Scholes has run a blinder so far to finish 8th in second free practise in 125. If he clings to that he is on the 2nd row on Sunday!

Ellison continues to be shown how to ride the Tech 3 Yamaha by his team mate Carlos Checa.

At the top though Loris is clinging to Valentino like a leech with Sete also not wishing to be far from that duo. All shaping up well!

Anybody willing to bet against Rossi not continuing his awesome record of wins at Mugello?
