Re: Vintage film cameras
Strongarmed the middle element holder and have damaged the focusing threads. Should have used a rubber bung to unscrew it but I didn't. Idiot.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Looks like Asda are planning to shut their photo centres as part of a restructuring plan. What a pain. Will have to send films off or learn home C-41 if they do.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Just picked up a Canon FD 70-150mm F4.5 lens for my AE-1 Program for £4.99 from a charity shop. Not a bad deal. Clean and fungus free.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Anyone know why a lightmeter app would need full access to the internet? Seems odd. Have deleted it now and will try with my handheld meter.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Downloading ads probably. Was it Pocket Light Meter? That's the only one I use.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Yeah, that's the one. Not given you any problems? Deleted Amazon Undergrounds as although the apps are free, they track your usage and report back.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Just had this fly in and land on my desk. Its a Seagull 205 Chinese rangefinder. I think its a copy of a Minoltaor similar.

Re: Vintage film cameras
The rangefinder is off. Can't adjust it anymore. Do you know what the tool for these are called?

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not sur ebut I've got one of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XCSOURCE%C2%.../dp/B00KFZXIR2 since Xmas, it's well made and I'd recommend it. Not had any trouble with PLM that I've noticed, checked my settings and switched off mobile data for it. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I have something similar. I reckon circlip pliers would work instead. Got a Contina 1b coming, was £3 or so plus postage.
