New style bike test - scrapped

All I can say on the matter is this:

Went on a ride on Sunday, one of the guys was a newly qualified rider. Ninja 6 and all the gear. Over took on approach to a bend and lost it, straight into a ditch.

Sorry but the lessons you take give you the skills to pass a test NOT neccessarily to ride a bike on modern roads. Scrap the off road part of the test and make the actual riding part longer, much much longer.
