Finding a £20 car park ticket for Excell Centre parking in a machine just after I'd paid for mine.

See smile of the day

Going to a wine tasting, but only being there to take photos so no wine for me.

This is Peter Richards, the wine expert from BBC Saturday Kitchen.

After a week off (decorating) I struggled getting up at stupid o'clock this morning. Get ready, wheel bike out of garage only to find my tyres had lost a little air. No biggie.
As it's stupid o'clock I didn't fancy ****ing everyone off in the surrounding area by firing up the compressor so opted for the pushbike track pump. Alas it was so frigging cold the washer must have shrunk as it wouldn't even compress the air let alone force any in the tyre. Ok....finally remembered about the ****e compressor in the car. Still fairly noisy but needs must and all. Get tyres pumped up. Getting a bit near to being late for work now.

Jump on bike turn key, lights are one, push button. Yep you guessed it. Wouldn't start. Git.
Get out of bike gear swearing, steal car off my wife and sit in a ****ing queue swearing all the way to work. Late for work.

What's worse is I have to sit in another queue of traffic later on.

Local council.
3 weeks of having a broken garage door. Still not fixed. They even had the cheek to write to me because I forgot one week's rent. Three weeks of an unusable garage though!
