Re: Vintage film cameras
Sold the Ensign 820 today, ebay to a guy in China via the global shipping programme. Hopefully this is not a black hole! Or at least hopefully I'm sufficiently insured.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I think it's firing at 1/250. Log the serial numbers and any distinguishing marks. Photo everything just in case.

Re: Vintage film cameras
If you can lightly tap your ring on something or get a small clicker you can usually get an animal to look right at you. That's a great kit for someone looking to get in to film photography.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Anyone interested in a Carl Zeiss Jena 135mm f3.5 in M42? One in the charity shop down the road for £3.99.

Re: Vintage film cameras
That's a good price but I'll pass thanks.
How's the move coming on? Have you got a date in mind yet? |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not yet, it's sold stc but just waiting on the survey results. Owners are away for two weeks on holiday too. I picked up the lens mate if anyone fancies it, otherwise I'll keep it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Johnny, just a thought. If I am setting the focus of a camera with a split focus screen does it go shiny side or mat side inwards? I just reset the focus on the RC but if I flip the screen then it's off.
