SOTD 1
My bike insurance price.

After a 2 year gap (still had my prev NCB) the price was circa £400. The year after it halved to just over £200. And this year prices seem to be around £130.

I fear this is also a sign of me getting old too!

SOTD 2

Not getting a job as they said i was over qualified and would outgrow it very quickly. And they would not have any position for me to grow into.
The honest feedback was a breath of fresh air, as i know of too many companies who don't think about the long term options of their employees and only the short term fix they bring./

Is this a smile? Finally paid for a garden room to be installed this month - the reason its a smile to me, its taken nearly 5 years of various problems putting the kybosh on it to get to this point.

Good, we all know how important bees are. Are any pesticides safe to use without harming the environment ?

Still being used in EU countries though - including Belgium ( the beating heart of the EU ). I noticed on BBC Countryfile the other night that they had a program about UK using these pesticides on sugar beet ( beet is a non-flowering crop that does not attract bees ), but made no mention of EU countries still using them - typical BBC fairness ( AKA bias ). For me they don't need to grow sugar beet anyway, it makes people fat and more likely to die of Covid-19

First ride on the bike today. Not far just a test run to make sure I'd' put it back together properly. I felt so rusty and stiff.

The weather was at least warm enough to clean the Mountain Bike & Motorbike today. Hopefully won't be too long before i can go and get them dirty again.

Too cold to go to Barnard castle . I didn't go far probably less than 10 miles and didn't interact with anyone.
