Re: Vintage film cameras
I thought I had found a gem at the boot sale this morning. Mint OM4 kit, lenses and winder etc but it was £300. I did grab the OM1n though, found a Canon AE1 rewind crank is a close for (not perfect) and the prism has some desilvering but it winds and fires and the meter works. It's now wearing Admins 50mm f1.8

Re: Vintage film cameras
I bought this 50mm for the A1 recently. The winder was another untested ebay purchase. It works fine.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I have one of those lens caps. I still haven't gotten around to shooting Yoko's battered A1 yet.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Quite cool those lens caps. Did you get the A1 working in the end?

Re: Vintage film cameras
It worked fine when i got it, just the usual shutter cough which i fixed. You might be thinking of the ME super which defeated me.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Just repaired this 28mm f2.8 Zuiko, got it for £16 but listed as sticky aperture and fungus. No fungus, and a simple case of cleaning oil off the mechanism.

Nice little lens that, and a great price.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It got dented in transit though. It had bubble wrap but it was just taped up in some cardboard.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I got the RC back together. The new lens is a million times better than the old one. All set up and ready for a test.
