The countless black Friday adverts, emails, texts. It's getting beyond the joke. I'm getting emails and texts from the same companies as well. I don't give a **** about your 10% BS sales or how long they last

And the reality is that there are no real bargains out there.

There are some deals out there but you have to look and be a little savvy.

I got the wife's present cheap today. Amusingly only because I it won't last week and had to return it!

Mobile phone upgrade time is not bad. Saved £408 over the next 2 years compared with the deal I read on by bundling stuff together. Looks like I'll be cancelling the wife's contract, buying or the remaining months and then resigning for 2 years. It will save fixing the broken screen and will still save money!

Then with some of the money I saved I bought a new visor.

Can not believe it cheaper to get parts from Italy and Germany and France for the bike than it is from the UK does not add up, anyone found the same thing?

When I was growing up Friday 13th was known as 'black Friday' - now its weeks long with people spending money they don't have on stuff they don't need.

Shops putting up Christmas decorations in October, Christmas sales moved to November WTF!!!!

Mobile phone companies.

Finish the contract early? You have to buy your way out. No other way. So you pay your way out.

Then go to the same operators shop in the high street and sell them the handset you just bought. (Actually you go round the corner and sell it to the guy in another shop who pays you £30 more than you just paid to get out of contract)

Does this strike anyone else as crazy?

This. BT Mobile Black Friday deal was an upgrade to 4GB data and unlimited mins and texts for about the same I pay them now for a lot less. Signed up online and the confirmation came through as 3GB. Eh? The (overseas by the name) live chat muppet did not understand and then said it was probably new customers only despite me pointing out it did not say that anywhere on the website. Had to call customer services today who said "that's never happened before"

and promised to honour the offer, but it would take them up to a week to roll my account back and try again...
