So what would this be? Olympii? A clutch? A herd, a batch? The RC, Trip and EE2 were all from the joblot for £16. Now all pretty much functional apart from the meter on the RC.

Many options, a range, a hoard,, a madness ….. They make a nice little family.
Was researching the Minolta XE today. It hadn't been on my radar before but apparently it's another Leica collaboration and shares a lot with the R3. Should get it to play with later in the week.

So what lens is it currently fitted with? It just says multi-coated.

I've no idea what any of it is. The ad just said camera, lenses and bits in a Yashica bag. None of the lenses were mentioned by name. I'm guessing the one on the camera is a wide angle (makinon f2.8??) and the Series One looks like a 70-210 but not sure which model.

I got nice Yashica lens hood with one of my bundles, seems to fit the 50mm DSB but its a square hood rather than round. When do you get your newest toys?

I've got the baseplate off the K1000 again and trying to free off the battery cover, currently soaking with white vinegar. If not, there is a base plate listed on ebay but I would rather free off this one. Just watched a 35RC sell for £81 plus post!

Is it a corroded battery or just gummed up? If the vinegar doesn't work, give brake & clutch cleaner a go.
Yeah, the 35RC is another camera that's highly valued and maybe overpriced. I've seen them up for sale for over £100

Really? I don't think much of it so far, bit like the over hyped MJU ii. Its corroded, the vinegar is bringing up white bits of goo and fizzing at the moment.

The 35RC is a bit like the Trip, K1000, etc. the hipsters have heard of them so they are instantly desirable. Look on ebay, too many cameras, right better do a search, but for what? Google "best 35mm rangefinder" or whatever and bang all top 10 hits into ebay. Boom, Canonets and Ikontas a-go-go.
