FB - you have had nothing short of appauling treatment from these arrogant tw*ts that are calling themselves police officers. Get on the phone, give them all of your notes, hell even link them up to this thread if its gonna give them any more detail / help. I expect the plods have been reading it anyway, if you gave them the same email address you have registered with the org (first thing they do when someones suspected of having illegal mods is jump on all the forums and search their email addy for posts about them, so im told)

Then, once your off the phone to WD, give your local MP a call, tell him how utterly gobsmacked you are that the police cant even call you back when they say they will. Then, after that, go to your local paper, any national paper you feel like and then off to MCN. Give these particular copper / this particular force an absolute pasting, do not hold back. They deserve every ounce of criticism / punishment they get.

Let us know how it goes and how much £££ you get for selling your story

If thats the route he wants to take, I would advise waiting till the issue is resolved one way or another, as it could be depremental to the issue of trying to get his bike back.

Just for the record and so you know Milky Bar Kid, generally, I don't have a problem with the police. I have an ex girl-friend who's a copper and a couple of mates that are in the police too.

However, situations like this one cause bad feeling towards them, unfortunately, you as a copper have to accept that you will (unfortunately) get tarred with the same brush.

Thats the same with most things. I'm a mechanic and MOT tester, most people have a (or used to) think all mechanics do the whole, "looks like it's been driven by a boy-racer" and rip the customer off! Same with MOT testing.
That aint the case with me, but I accept the fact that people have a stereo-typical view and strive to prove them wrong.

I think the police in Flameboys situation have behaved outrageously though and are infact muppets. (This does not mean, all police are muppets!!!)
