Re: "33bhp?" Yes "i dont believe you, I'll seize your bike and take you to court"
solicitor says I should be writing a letter to the chief super intendant basically explaining the incident and how they have no reason or evidence to believe the bike is un-restricted. why it's taking so long to test and how they're going to justify having it for this amount of time

FB, do you know what mileage was on the bike when it was seized?
Just wondering... Be interseting to see what it is when you get it back...argh! my paranoia jar has exploded.

Re: "33bhp?" Yes "i dont believe you, I'll seize your bike and take you to court"
ARG, Turn in the table, left another message for the inspector, he came in off his holiday (funny how everyone dealing with this is taking a holiday this week) anyway, the bike was tested... and is over by 7bhp, so much for my "33bhp ecu" well to start I'm a little shocked as I manage the same speeds and rates as other "33bhp" SV's. Going to collect the bike tomorrow, 150 + 6 day holding, although I will dispute the 6 day fee as the testing was delayed, the inspector said I'd get away with riding it back to my garage and "POSSIBLY" I wont be charged because of the way it was handled by the police (shockingly) in my and their opinion even if the bike is over. So I shall be waiting eagerly to see if I'm prosecuted for it...
Next bit of advise, What should I do about getting the bike officially restricted? I don't want to pay for another ECU and have that tested, and that to be over... Due to the costing of these events I may end up selling my bike anyway, along with accumulating "6 points for no insurance"? and losing my licence and basically F*ing my future vehicles lifes? Sigh... I really believed it was fine, I guess you never do know what you're getting off Fleabay. thanks for all the advise getting this "resolved" not the outcome I'd hopped for but I'll just play the waiting game again and see what happens next. It probably is a 33bhp ECU, but as people have said, the dyno could have been carried out badly. Id still be getting on to White Dalton or similar.

It is restricted, cross reference the part number on the ECu, between the part number suzuki supply. How did they test it? This is absolutely sh!te, get onto WD.
If they really believe it was over, why are they letting you ride it back? This is not right, somethings going on here. |
