Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I'm finally out of covid isolation. Not been out of the house since July 1st. I feel like a dog that's been let off the lead.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Yes. Think heavy cold with a bit of a temperature. That's the problem, we caught it from my son who in turn got it from his girlfriend. She's had both jabs as she works in care homes. She thought she had a cold and didn't isolate so therefore spread the infection. So if you think you've a cold, do a test just be sure.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Bike washed (need to polish when there's a bit of shade), levels checked just need to get my gear together for heading over to Cadwell tomorrow for Monday's track day.
It's been 3 years now and missing it, maybe I should get a track bike hmmm.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I suggested to my MP that since the covid mask requirement will now become a suggestion, but we will be expected to carry on wearing them, that we try the same with speed limits. Remove the legal requirement to obey them but suggest we continue to observe them - let's see what happens.
(He stopped responding after I called him untrustworthy a year ago)

Maybe he stopped responding due to questions like that . . . . not sure what feedback/answer you want from him, or what difference it would make given he does not make the decisions.

Obviously my suggestion was facetious but I think that tomorrow's mask guideline is unworkable. However, there have been instances where a vote was due in Parliament and I've voiced my opinion - as a constituency MP it's his job to listen, irrespective of how he feels. Telling him he was too old to represent young people at 71 years old probably didn't help my case, though. He was on the committee that's introducing E10 ethanol I discovered after sending him many links as to why it was not a great idea. I wrote to him about the GKN takeover asking him to voice his opposition. He agreed with me then voted with the party; hence untrustworthy. More recently I've been haranguing him about the lack of ethics (and the amount of sleaze) in the current cabinet. Maybe my emails go straight into his junk/spam folder but I'll keep writing.
